MISSION AND BENEFITS
CORPORATE PARTNERSHIP COUNCIL

The mission of our CORPORATE PARTNERSHIP COUNCIL (CPC) is to promote economic security for the mutual benefit of our Corporate Partners, Black and Indigenous Communities of Color, and ALL Californians. At the California Urban Partnership (CUP), we aim to develop and have strong relationships, ongoing communications, strategic alliances and a long-term commitment with our CPC members.  In a true spirit of collaboration, we work to enhance connections to business and consumer networks, as well as leverage the legislative contacts and policy interests they have in common.  The CPC is an influential part of the CUP's team and work; receiving empirical knowledge about community and policy issues, along with cross-sector opportunities and solutions. In their important advisory roles, CPC members may provide technical expertise and in-kind support to help the CUP achieve maximum success and impact in its mission and strategic goals.  Members review and discuss our initiatives for the year, serve as consultants, and function as experts at various high profile meetings and events.  The CUP believes that this approach to building Corporate Relationships is a sound strategy to achieve equity, economic growth and prosperity that is measurable, sustainable and rewarding to all stakeholders involved.
